Our Outdoor Landscape Lighting Maintenance Checklist

Our service techs aren’t just here to fix a single problem — they want to prevent any further issues as well. Our thorough checklist ensures that we review every aspect of your system to minimize the risk of potential failures.

01. Examine

Examine all lighting fixtures, wires, and transformers to ensure proper functionality and secure power connection.

02. Inspect

Inspect wires on non-functioning, dim, or flickering lights and assess any safety issues within the entire system. 

03. Replace

Replace any bulbs where they are needed. During this stage of your landscape lighting service, you can consider upgrading to the LED lighting packages we recommend. 

04. Check

Check the timer to ensure proper timing and adjust run-time if needed. This includes updates for daylight saving and other necessary adjustments.

05. Straighten

Straighten any shifted fixtures to display light in the proper areas and to ensure they stay straight for an extended period of time. 

06. Clean

Clean residue off of fixture lenses for proper brightness and to maximize the longevity of the lens and bulbs. We’ll also check for moisture in the fixture at this time.

07. Wipe

Wipe down fixtures with a cloth and cleaning solution to extend product lifetime by preventing acceleration of metal breakdown.

08. Move

Move any existing fixtures that are out of position due to landscape growth or to maximize use.
