Bring your Creve Coeur home to life after dark.
Creve Coeur — French for “broken heart,” named for the lake’s shape — is one of the most established affluent communities in West County. About 17,800 residents, deep roots in farming history, and a residential character defined by mature neighborhoods, generous parkland, and the kind of quality housing stock that makes for excellent landscape-lighting projects. Creve Coeur sits roughly in the heart of the West County metropolitan region and is genuinely beautiful to drive through, especially at night when the homes are properly lit.Â
What sets Creve Coeur apart is the parkland. The city has more parks than any other municipality in West County, encompassing approximately 100 acres including a nine-hole golf course and an indoor year-round ice-skating arena. Creve Coeur Park and Creve Coeur Lake anchor the city’s natural character, and many residential neighborhoods sit near or adjacent to parkland. That park-adjacent character influences how we design lighting — we use warm color temperatures, hidden fixtures, and warm-spectrum LEDs that respect the natural surroundings.Â
Creve Coeur is also home to three major hospitals — Mercy Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, and Missouri Baptist Medical Center — and a number of corporate headquarters. Many Creve Coeur homeowners work in healthcare or related professions, which informs how we work: we offer the 5% healthcare worker discount for medical professionals, and we’re known for showing up on time, communicating clearly, and respecting the homeowner’s time and property throughout the project.Â
Whether you’re in an established Creve Coeur neighborhood, near Creve Coeur Park or the lake, off New Ballas Road, or anywhere across the city’s affluent residential streets, we’d love to walk your property and design something custom.
Here’s what we design and install across the area:
Creve Coeur's well-built homes and considered landscape designs reward equally considered accent lighting — restrained, layered, and tuned to existing hardscape.
Graded properties and longer approaches mean pathway lighting is functional safety infrastructure as much as design.
Extensive outdoor living areas on these lots support full-property audio installations more often than typical suburban markets.
Creve Coeur is an established affluent market with significant landscape investment already in place on most properties. Lighting designs here typically integrate with existing hardscape, irrigation, and planting plans rather than starting from scratch. Coordination with landscape architects or designers is more common in this market than in newer- construction suburbs.
Many Creve Coeur homes sit near or back onto parkland. We design lighting that respects that natural boundary — fixtures aimed inward toward the home rather than outward into protected woodland, warm color temperatures that don't disturb wildlife, and visual effects that integrate the home with its natural surroundings rather than imposing on them.
Creve Coeur is an established affluent community, and the lighting designs we create reflect that. Subtle, well-placed, refined. We don't oversell with theatrical lighting or jarring color effects. The goal is for your home to look quietly beautiful — the kind of lighting that draws compliments without drawing attention.
We offer a 5% discount for healthcare professionals, first responders, and military — appropriate in a city where three major hospitals anchor the local economy. Beyond the discount, our service standards reflect what we know healthcare professionals expect: showing up on time, communicating clearly, respecting your property, and getting the work done without surprises.
Most Creve Coeur homes have decades of mature landscaping. Our designs integrate with what's already there — we don't ask you to rebuild beds or remove established plants. Often the most dramatic effects come from highlighting features you've cultivated over years.
Why Creve Coeur homeowners — including the healthcare professionals who anchor the city — choose us
Three major hospitals — Mercy, Barnes-Jewish West County, Missouri Baptist — anchor Creve Coeur's economy. We honor the people who work in them with a 5% discount, applied at the final invoice. Mention before you sign.
Many Creve Coeur homes sit near or back onto Creve Coeur Park, Creve Coeur Lake, or other natural areas. We design with that natural backdrop in mind — warm color temperatures, fixtures aimed inward toward the home, and effects that integrate with the surroundings.
Healthcare professionals value reliability and clear communication. Our team shows up when we say we will, communicates clearly through every phase, and respects your time and property throughout. That's true for every client, but it especially fits the Creve Coeur context.
Creve Coeur is an established affluent community. Our lighting designs reflect that — subtle, well-placed, refined. We don't oversell with theatrical lighting or jarring color effects. The goal is quietly beautiful, not attention-seeking.
Most Creve Coeur homes have decades of mature landscaping. We design around what's already there — we don't ask you to rebuild beds or remove established plants.

The work was fairly priced and the materials and workmanship were excellent. We actually rehired them again for even more lighting features.Posted on Google Bradley FisherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently hired Landscape Lighting Guys to help with my home lighting system, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I first met Matt while he was preparing a proposal for a large lighting project in our subdivision’s common areas. He took the time to meet with us multiple times, answer questions, and walk through the details of the project. During those meetings, I also had him take a look at my home’s landscape lighting system. Over the years, I had several different companies work on my lighting, and after some recent landscaping work, some wires were cut and pulled out, and fixtures were pulled out of their proper location. My system needed to be reset and repaired. Matt provided a beyond fair and detailed proposal, and his crew got right to work. What impressed me most was that they weren’t interested in taking shortcuts. Tyler and George explained that they could simply reconnect some of the old wiring, but they weren’t comfortable doing that because they couldn’t guarantee the long-term results. Instead, they took the time to trace the system, replace wiring where needed, and correct several issues left behind from previous installations. It was obvious they cared about doing the job correctly rather than just getting it done. The end result is actually better than what I had before. A few simple adjustments to fixture placement and aiming made a huge difference in how the house and landscaping are illuminated at night. The attention to detail was outstanding. Tyler and George were also incredibly professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They cleaned up after themselves, polished the fixtures, answered questions, and treated my property like it was their own. That level of service is hard to find these days. I’m also excited that Matt offers maintenance and service plans. One of the biggest challenges with landscape lighting is finding someone who understands your system and can maintain it properly over time. It’s reassuring to know I now have a trusted company that can keep everything looking great for years to come. If you’re looking for a company that values quality, professionalism, and long-term customer relationships, I highly recommend Matt, Tyler, George, and the entire team at Landscape Lighting Guys.Posted on Google Jeff BerzonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We met Matt many years ago when his business was young. His professionalism and dedications were matched by his crew. Years later we used his Company again, after we moved. We were just as impressed. Their suggestions, especially the Bistro Lights over the patio, were spot on. Another great job, And another round of compliments from our neighbors!Posted on Google Sue AckleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did quite a bit of talking with several lighting companies in the beginning. Some didn’t show up for an appointment, one didn’t call back when I asked to make some changes to the bid, so I looked for someone who was honest, had integrity, and listened to what I wanted, but had great ideas as well. The Lighten guys fit the bill perfectly. My house lighten was done in the winter, but I knew I would like to add to it as soon as my garden was in full bloom. Matt came out today and again I was so pleased with his ideas! It’s going to be perfect! Thanks bunches Matt! They performed high quality work that they stand behind. I highly recommend them!Posted on Google Julie BuckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team originally designed and installed our landscape lights in 2021. We were thrilled with his expertise on placement of the lights. The end result turned out great. We still get compliments on our lighting. My favorite part is the yearly check and fix of any issues. His team cleans, checks and repairs lights, wires or any other issue each year. Hassle free for us. Highly recommend this company.Posted on Google Ben LloydTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Huge shout out for the entire team at LLG. I can't recommend them enough. The estimating was simple and clear, pricing was fair and competitive.. and I was blown away with the finished product! Whenever my wife comes home with the kids after baseball practice, she always makes the comment how safe she feels and how lit up our house looks! LLG completely changed the dynamic of my home. THANK YOU!!Posted on Google David KannapelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and the team couldn't have been better to work with. They were able to get us quoted, installed, and supported very quickly and professionally. In addition to the hardware and lights looking great, the professionalism has been above and beyond. Would highly recommend!Posted on Google Timothy RohlmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our lights were installed at least 10 years ago and worked fine except we had some trees removed and some were damaged. Those 3 were replaced and all the others (32) were serviced, cleaned and new bulbs. Excellent work thank you.Posted on Google Coco BloomfieldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Prompt, excellent service! So nice to deal with.
