Bring your Maryland Heights home to life after dark.
Maryland Heights is one of the most family-friendly cities in West County. The city sits north of Interstate 64/40, west of Creve Coeur, and combines comfortable residential neighborhoods with the kind of suburban amenities that families look for — good schools, established parks, walkable streets, and quick access to both the West County corridor and downtown St. Louis. The Creve Coeur neighborhood within Maryland Heights is especially known for its peaceful, suburban character with beautiful parks and lakes.Â
What makes Maryland Heights an interesting landscape-lighting market is the diversity. The city has a wide range of housing — established traditional homes from the postwar era, newer subdivisions on the city’s edges, and a number of family-friendly neighborhoods where the lighting work we do becomes a real point of neighborhood pride. Many of our Maryland Heights clients hear about us from neighbors, and the subdivision discount (10% off when 5+ homes book together) has been popular here.Â
Maryland Heights is also home to Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park — one of the largest parks in the entire St. Louis metro region, covering over 2,100 acres just south of the city. Many Maryland Heights neighborhoods sit near or with quick access to the park, and that natural backdrop influences how we design lighting. We use warm color temperatures, naturalistic placements, and lighting effects that respect the surrounding natural character.Â
Whether you’re in an established family neighborhood, near Creve Coeur Lake Park, off McKelvey Road, or anywhere across Maryland Heights’ residential streets, we’d love to walk your property and design something custom.
Here’s what we design and install across the area:
The Westport business district drives significant commercial demand, with corporate parks and office buildings making up a meaningful portion of the local market.
Maryland Heights's residential subdivisions feature primarily newer construction that responds well to facade accent designs.
Newer-build residential stock supports permanent roofline systems with clean architectural integration.
Maryland Heights is one of the few St. Louis-area cities where commercial lighting work runs at parity with residential — the Westport corridor alone generates significant ongoing demand. Residential neighborhoods are generally consistent in character (suburban, newer construction) which makes design decisions straightforward. Both categories see steady year-round project flow.
Most Maryland Heights neighborhoods have strong family character — walkable streets, established trees, and the kind of tight-knit community feel where good lighting on one home enhances the whole block. We design lighting that's welcoming, well-placed, and looks beautiful from both your own front door and your neighbor's.
Maryland Heights neighborhoods are great candidates for our subdivision discount (10% off when 5+ homes in the same area book together). When neighbors coordinate, we can install lighting across multiple properties in a single trip — saving everyone money and creating a coordinated look across the block.
Many Maryland Heights homes are near Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park or other natural areas. We design with that in mind — warm color temperatures, fixtures aimed inward toward the home, and lighting effects that integrate with rather than impose on the natural surroundings.
Maryland Heights is a value-driven market and our approach matches that. Phased designs spread costs across multiple years. We can start with the highest-impact zones (façade, primary landscape) and add zones as your budget allows.

Many Maryland Heights homes are near Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park or other natural areas. We design with that backdrop in mind — warm color temperatures, fixtures aimed inward, lighting effects that integrate with natural surroundings.

The work was fairly priced and the materials and workmanship were excellent. We actually rehired them again for even more lighting features.Posted on Google Bradley FisherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently hired Landscape Lighting Guys to help with my home lighting system, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I first met Matt while he was preparing a proposal for a large lighting project in our subdivision’s common areas. He took the time to meet with us multiple times, answer questions, and walk through the details of the project. During those meetings, I also had him take a look at my home’s landscape lighting system. Over the years, I had several different companies work on my lighting, and after some recent landscaping work, some wires were cut and pulled out, and fixtures were pulled out of their proper location. My system needed to be reset and repaired. Matt provided a beyond fair and detailed proposal, and his crew got right to work. What impressed me most was that they weren’t interested in taking shortcuts. Tyler and George explained that they could simply reconnect some of the old wiring, but they weren’t comfortable doing that because they couldn’t guarantee the long-term results. Instead, they took the time to trace the system, replace wiring where needed, and correct several issues left behind from previous installations. It was obvious they cared about doing the job correctly rather than just getting it done. The end result is actually better than what I had before. A few simple adjustments to fixture placement and aiming made a huge difference in how the house and landscaping are illuminated at night. The attention to detail was outstanding. Tyler and George were also incredibly professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They cleaned up after themselves, polished the fixtures, answered questions, and treated my property like it was their own. That level of service is hard to find these days. I’m also excited that Matt offers maintenance and service plans. One of the biggest challenges with landscape lighting is finding someone who understands your system and can maintain it properly over time. It’s reassuring to know I now have a trusted company that can keep everything looking great for years to come. If you’re looking for a company that values quality, professionalism, and long-term customer relationships, I highly recommend Matt, Tyler, George, and the entire team at Landscape Lighting Guys.Posted on Google Jeff BerzonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We met Matt many years ago when his business was young. His professionalism and dedications were matched by his crew. Years later we used his Company again, after we moved. We were just as impressed. Their suggestions, especially the Bistro Lights over the patio, were spot on. Another great job, And another round of compliments from our neighbors!Posted on Google Sue AckleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did quite a bit of talking with several lighting companies in the beginning. Some didn’t show up for an appointment, one didn’t call back when I asked to make some changes to the bid, so I looked for someone who was honest, had integrity, and listened to what I wanted, but had great ideas as well. The Lighten guys fit the bill perfectly. My house lighten was done in the winter, but I knew I would like to add to it as soon as my garden was in full bloom. Matt came out today and again I was so pleased with his ideas! It’s going to be perfect! Thanks bunches Matt! They performed high quality work that they stand behind. I highly recommend them!Posted on Google Julie BuckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and his team originally designed and installed our landscape lights in 2021. We were thrilled with his expertise on placement of the lights. The end result turned out great. We still get compliments on our lighting. My favorite part is the yearly check and fix of any issues. His team cleans, checks and repairs lights, wires or any other issue each year. Hassle free for us. Highly recommend this company.Posted on Google Ben LloydTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Huge shout out for the entire team at LLG. I can't recommend them enough. The estimating was simple and clear, pricing was fair and competitive.. and I was blown away with the finished product! Whenever my wife comes home with the kids after baseball practice, she always makes the comment how safe she feels and how lit up our house looks! LLG completely changed the dynamic of my home. THANK YOU!!Posted on Google David KannapelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Matt and the team couldn't have been better to work with. They were able to get us quoted, installed, and supported very quickly and professionally. In addition to the hardware and lights looking great, the professionalism has been above and beyond. Would highly recommend!Posted on Google Timothy RohlmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our lights were installed at least 10 years ago and worked fine except we had some trees removed and some were damaged. Those 3 were replaced and all the others (32) were serviced, cleaned and new bulbs. Excellent work thank you.Posted on Google Coco BloomfieldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Prompt, excellent service! So nice to deal with.
